GDA to challenge PPP on every seat in Sindh

The Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) has announced its decision to contest every seat in the province in the upcoming general elections and give a tough time to the ruling Pakistan People's Party (PPP).

The decision was confirmed by Pir Pagara, the leader of GDA, after a high-level consultation meeting of the alliance on Wednesday.

Pir Pagara said that GDA will win the elections with a majority and change the destiny of Sindh.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of forming an alliance with other political, religious and nationalist parties, including Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Pir Pagara said that information was given regarding negotiations with these parties and hoped that they would join hands with GDA for the betterment of Sindh.

The GDA leaders expressed their dissatisfaction with the performance of the PPP government in the last 15 years, which they said had brought destruction to agriculture, economy and law and order in Sindh.

They also raised serious concerns over the plight of flood victims, unemployment, kidnapping for ransom and corruption. They demanded strict accountability of the people involved in looting public money and depositing it in the country's treasury.

The GDA also expressed its doubts over the transparency of the elections under the current caretaker government and provincial election commissioner. They said that their concerns regarding the caretaker government and provincial election commission had not been resolved yet and they feared that the elections would not be fair and free.

Pir Pagara urged the caretaker government and the election commission to fulfill their constitutional responsibilities and conduct transparent elections in the country.

He warned that if the elections were rigged, the situation might worsen. He appealed to the people of Sindh to not lose courage and vote out the thieves, looters and corrupt mafia in the general elections.
