PSO to fuel only 20 PIA flights today

The flight operation of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will be limited today, for Pakistan State Oil (PSO) will fuel 20 flights only, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to the PSO sources, only 20 flights can be fueled within the PIA’s payment limit. The flights will be refueled by 3 pm today.
After 3 pm, the next payment will be made for further flights to be fueled. The PIA can extend flight operations only by immediate payment.
In case of non-payment by 3 pm, only those flights will be fueled that were previously listed by the PIA.
It is to be noted here that the PIA operations remained suspended yesterday due to the non-payment of the pending dues.
Several flights of the national airline were cancelled today too.
The PIA has paid PSO Rs750 million since the agreement between the two organisations.
The PIA and the PSO had reached an agreement that the latter would pay the former Rs100 million every day.
On the other hand, overseas Pakistanis have been facing a great deal of inconvenience due to the suspension of the PIA flights.
The dead bodies of Pakistanis, who died abroad, have been waiting to be shipped to Pakistan.
The dead bodies in Riyadh and other places in Saudi Arabia have been waiting for their shipment to Pakistan.
