A court in Lahore on Thursday extended the interim bails granted to three suspects in TikToker Ayesha Akram Beg’s ‘molestation’ case while another suspect was cleared by the police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court granted extension to Shehroze, Akhtar and Ilyas in their bails until October 6.

Another suspect Usman Aziz Sheikh withdrew the interim bail application as police declared him ‘innocent’ in the case.

TikToker Ayesha had been molested by a mob of around 400 men, mostly youth, at Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore on August 14th, the country’s Independence Day.

The TikToker had gone to the park along with her friend Rambo to film a video in connection with the Independence Day that she was pounced upon by hundreds of men who lifted her in their hands, tossed her up, tore her clothes and did ‘indecent’ acts with her.

The incident had invited countrywide condemnation, and even the international media had covered it much to the embarrassment of the country.
