JI chief chides govt over transgender bill 

Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Sirajul Haq criticising the transgender bill 2018 has said the bill is against Shariah and humanity.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, Siraj expressed his displeasure over the performance of the government and said that the PDM coalition government is the most failed government after the PTI regime.

“It did nothing but form a cabinet based on more than 70 ministers and advisers,” he said.

Siraj said the appointment of the Army Chief should not be made controversial.

The JI chief said that the provincial and federal government is nowhere to help the flood victims. Flood survivors are dying of hunger, they are forced to live without a roof, but the government is waiting for help from outside, he rued.
