Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Patron-in-Chief Jehangir Khan Tareen Friday said that the party will decide on a coalition after polls, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
The IPP is a democratic party that believes in the people's power and it will let people decide their fate, he said.
PTI’s Munaza Hassan announced joining the IPP. She said she worked with the PTI for 26 years following an important agenda which was to work for the rule of law, accountability and solving the problems faced by Pakistan and the people.
Stating the reason for leaving PTI, she said that it failed to do anything for the country. Munaza said that if the Istehkam-e-Pakistan party does not deliver, she will quit working with them also.
Welcoming her, Jahangir Tareen said that she has been working for women for the last 26 years and now she has joined our party. The Istehkam-e-Pakistan party warmly welcomes her and hopes that she continues to work for the country like she has done in the past.
Jahangir Tareen said that ECP has announced the election dates but the polls should not be held over the 10-year-old data. The establishment is not interfering with the politics. Elections should be held in any case as they are now inevitable due to the situation in the country. ECP should have the same treatment towards all the parties.
Political personalities including Firdous Ashiq Awan, Aun Chaudhry and Ishaq Khakwani were also present in the press conference.
