Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said on Monday that former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan had been acting on the Jewish agenda for a long time now, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to reporters in Rawalpindi, he said that Imran’s sons were being brought up at the house of a Jewish family.
Commenting on the bridging of gaps between the PTI and the JUI-F, Kundi said that now the situation was such that the PTI leaders rushed to JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s home on a single call.
Acknowledging it was necessary to respect the courts; whether their decisions were in favour or against, he, however, said the courts could not provide a legal cover to the switching of parties. “If the constitution is anything to go by, the PTI cannot get the reserved seats,” he said, adding, “These seats can only be given to those political parties which have submitted lists for the purpose.”
Referring to the Supreme Court’s verdict in former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) hanging case, the KP governor said when courts would do justice after several decades, then how come suspects in the May 9 violence could be brought to justice.
Kundi said that Imran Khan wanted to be given a ‘clean chit’ in corruption cases. “If KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur had not been picked up by the agencies and he disappeared himself, then the matter should be investigated.”
He was of the view that the PTI’s politics had been such that it could not be on good terms with any party. “I don’t consider PTI a political party; its future is bleak.”
