PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that more than 21 witnesses have been presented against the PTI founder in the 190 Million pounds Reference Case, adding that the government wanted to give severe punishment to Imran Khan in the case as well, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media outside Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, Barrister Gohar said that Imran Khan was surprised with the results of by elections in Punjab.
He blamed that all the ballot boxes were already filled and results were prepared much earlier.
He urged the Election Commission of Pakistan to provide a level playing field to PTI leaders and workers.
Gohar questioned why Returning Officers and District Returning Officers were not taken from the judiciary.
He said PTI wanted to give voting rights to the masses. He reminded the Chief Justice of Pakistan their petition against the Election Commission was still pending with the apex court.
He urged the CJP to hear their pleas regarding reserved seats. He said PTI founder said had a judicial commission been set up to probe against Form 45, there would have been no fraud in by-elections.
Gohar said Bushra Bibi was given 14 years sentence to degrade the PTI founder. He urged the court to give bail to the PTI founder, adding that PTI will assure the courts that the PTI founder will appear in the courts personally for the hearings.
