Medical report of woman, daughter confirms rape by rickshaw driver

The allegations of rape levelled by a woman and her daughter against a rickshaw driver and his accomplice were confirmed in the medical report carried out at Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, both were medically examined at the hospital, and then the DNA samples were sent to the forensic lab. The result has confirmed the rape allegations.

On Monday, Lahore CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar said that the rickshaw driver and his accomplice were arrested on the complaint of the woman and her daughter.
Lahore CCPO said that the rickshaw driver and his accomplice allegedly raped the woman and her daughter, both hailed from Vehari. The mother and daughter after reaching Tokhar Niaz Baig from Vehari, booked a rickshaw for Cantt to meet their relatives but the driver took them to LDA Avenue and raped them.

The CCPO revealed that both the accused were criminals and wanted in various other cases as well.
The rickshaw driver, Umar Farooq, was a serial rapist, a police official said.
