Google pays ‘doodle’ homage to Moin Akhar on 71st birthday

Multinational technological giant ‘Google’ has paid a tribute to legendary actor and comedian Moin Akhtar with a doodle on his 71st birthday.
As the day ended on December 23, Moin Akhtar's doodle appeared on Google screens after midnight. Google has shown pictures of many of Moin Akhtar's characters.
The artist who has been spreading smiles for four decades is still alive in millions of hearts.
Moin Akhtar was born in Karachi on December 24. He got a breakthrough in his career from the stage dramas at the very young age of 16.
Moin has managed to captivate the attention of viewers from all walks of life through his breathtaking performance in dramas like called 'Makan No 47' and 'Nokar Key Agey Chaaker'.
Moin absolutely stole the show with his remarkable performance in Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) drama ‘Rosy’, which basically was the adaptation of the 1982 American comedy film ‘Tootsie’ and played the role in such a sophisticated manner that people got excited.
Moreover, he continued to stun the world of showbiz and fans through his marvellous performances in comedy hits including ‘Angan Tera’, ‘Fifty Fifty’, ‘Kuch Kuch Such Much’ won the hearts of the viewers.
Furthermore, Moin had a command on hosting a show by infusing his humorous skills onto it.
For his remarkable services to the world of showbiz, Moin Akthar was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Pride of Performance.
Moin Akhtar died on April 22, 2011, at the age of 61. He was survived by his wife, two daughters and three sons.
