Huge cache of weapons, ammunition seized in North Waziristan

The security forces personnel have seized a huge cache of weapons and ammunition in North Waziristan District, said a statement issued by ISPR on Thursday.

The security forces personnel conducted an intelligence-based operation in general area Madi Khel of North Waziristan District on reports of the presence of weapons and ammunition. 

During the search operation, a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered. 

The seized weapons and ammunition included submachine guns, light machine guns, RPG-7s, hand grenades, RPG-7 rockets and hundreds of multiple calibre rounds.

Locals of the area appreciated the operation by the security forces, expressing their full support to them for eliminating the menace of terrorism from the area.
