Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Friday in principal agreed to form a stable government together with Pakistan People's Party and BAP in Balochistan province, reported the 24NewsHd TV channel.
This development came after the meeting of PML-N newly elected members of the Balochistan assembly with the PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the inside story of the meeting, the newly elected members of the assembly agreed to form a coalition government with the allies in the province.
However, they offered a formula to the PML-N central leadership that a five-year tenure of Balochistan should be divided between the PPP and PML-N for two and a half years of Chief Ministership each. They expressed hope that the Pakistan People's Party would accept this formula.
In the meeting, the name of Sheikh Jafar Mandukhel was presented for the governor by newly elected lawmakers. They also agreed on mutual consultation for the names of Balochistan’s speaker and ministers in the Cabinet.
The PML-N leadership has instructed former minister Jam Kamal to join the central government instead of the province.
Jam Kamal is likely to be given important responsibility at Islamabad.
