Babar Azam summits ICC’s ODI team for the second consecutive year

International Cricket Council (ICC) Tuesday announced Men’s One Day format team of the year 2022 for which Pakistani batter Babar Azam was crowned the captaincy.

For the list, ICC took seven countries into consideration for the lineup of the ODI team including Pakistan, Australia, India, West Indies, New Zealand, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
The team features:
1. Babar Azam (c) (Pak)
2. Travis Head (Aus)
3. Shai Hope (WI)
4. Shreyas Iyer (Ind)
5. Tom Latham (wk) (NZ)
6. Sikandar Raza (Zim)
7. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Ban)
8. Alzarri Joseph (WI)
9. Mohammed Siraj (Ind)
10. Trent Boult (NZ)
11. Adam Zampa (Aus)
Babar Azam has been made captain for the second consecutive year. Azam scored 679 runs at a very remarkable average of 84.87 and made it to the summit of the list.
The Pakistan Cricket Board appreciated Babar for his efforts and congratulated him for his achievement.
