Gold prices in Pakistan continued their record-breaking spree on Tuesday as one-tola and 10-gram rates hit an all-time high of 189,300 and Rs162,294 after gaining Rs1150 and Rs986 respectively.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the price of 10-gram gold of 22 karats was traded in the local market at Rs1,48,770.
The price of yellow metal in the international market jumped to $1,938 after an increase of $14. The price of gold witnessed a sharp increase against the backdrop of an increase in the US dollar price in the country.
The price of one tola of 24-Karat silver remained stable and traded at Rs Rs2,100 per tola while the 10-gram silver of 24-karat was traded at Rs1800.41.
As per the channel report, the price of one tola of 24-Karat gold in Pakistan is Rs3,500 under cost in Dubai gold rates.
