India invites FM Bilawal, CJP Bandial to SCO meeting

India has invited Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s (SCO’s) meeting of the foreign ministers and that of the chief justices, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per the official sources, India has sent invitation letters to the foreign minister and the chief justice of Pakistan.
It merits mention here that India is the organising chair of the SCO this year.
The SCO’s meeting of the foreign ministers will be held in the Indian city of Goa in May this year.
Whereas, the SCO’s meeting of the chief justices will be held in the month of March this year.
Pakistan has not yet responded to both the invitations.
The decision regarding participation in the meeting to be held in India will be taken after consultation with all the stakeholders, the official sources said.
