Pakistani rupee scores minor gain against US dollar in interbank

Pakistani rupee recorded another marginal gain against the US dollar in the interbank market on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the information obtained from the money traders, the local currency appreciated by 19 paisas and was currently being traded at Rs279.60.
On Tuesday, the Pakistani rupee had registered an increase of six paisas against the US dollar and ended the day at 279.79.
The Pakistani rupee's positive run was triggered after the State Bank had received the second installment of $705.6 million from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) last week.
