Gold shatters another record, one-tola price reaches Rs118,700

No one can stop gold from breaking every ceiling as another record was shattered on Friday with an increase of Rs1,400 in per-tola price, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It means one total of 24-karat gold is now available for Rs118,700 while the price for 10 grams stands at 101,766, which increased by Rs1,200.
The latest record came the price witnessed an increase of $14 in the international market as one ounce of gold was traded for $1,896.
Earlier on Thursday, the gold price went through the roof, smashing the all-time record, as the per-tola price of the glittering metal reached Rs117,300 with an increase of Rs2,300.
In the international market, the gold price climbed to $1,882 per ounce with an increase of $26.
On the other hand, the US dollar was down 36 paisas against the rupee in inter-bank rate on Friday, as the world’s top currency closed the week at Rs167.26.
