PM Shehbaz appoints new ambassadors to China and Russia

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday approved the appointments of Pakistan’s ambassadors to China and Russia, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources told 24News that the approval was given on the recommendation of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Khalil Hashmi, who is currently Pakistan’s representative in the United Nations at Geneva, will be Pakistan’s new envoy to China.

Khalid Jamali, who is presently Pakistan’s ambassador in Poland, will be the country’s new ambassador to Russia.
