Goods Carrier Association announces strike from July 25 against govt restrictions

Goods transporters, fed up with X-load, unusual challan and other government restrictions announced a strike from July 25, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
It was decided in an emergency meeting of the Goods Carriers Association held at
the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The president of the Goods Carriers Association Chaudhry Shujat said that the strike will continue till the indefinite period.
He demanded that there should be a uniform X-load system across Pakistan.
President Association further demanded that the increase in toll taxes should be withdrawn immediately.
