Fake accounts case: Fugitive nabbed from Rawaipindi

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore chapter has claimed to have nailed a fugitive wanted in fake accounts case in a special operation in Rawalpindi, 24NewsHD reported on Thursday.
According to sources, the intelligence wing of national accountability body carried out the special operation in Rawalpindi on an intel-based tip-off and arrested the accused who has been on the run for years.
Accused Imran Shafi has been shifted to Lahore and the bureau will produce him in the court tomorrow, the insiders said, adding that the arrested has been on the run since the launch accountability process and reports said he went into hiding abroad.
The arrested is being dubbed as a big achievement by NAB. A total of 143 persons are on the run since the bureau has been digging into fake accounts case.
