Model Town Club’s 4 female staffers released in Uzma Kardar's theft case

SSP Investigation Model Town has said that four accused women, who were arrested on suspicion charges in jewelry theft case at the complaint of PML-N MPA Uzma Kardar, have been released after the assurance of their innocence by Model Town Club’s administration, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
However, police officer said further investigation continued as per the guidance of club administration and the statements of the staff.
Meanwhile, the four accused women claimed that they were mistreated and tortured by police at the complaint of Uzma kardar. The accused claimed that they were not involved in theft case but they were severely beaten and undressed for search by police in the presence of Uzma Kardar.
It is pertinent to mention that MPA Uzma Kardar other day claimed that her jewellery set worth Rs 500,000 was stolen from her bag in Model Town Club when she was busy in swimming, she raised doubt at club’s 2 female instructor and other employees. According to police, Uzma Kardar after Punjab Assembly session reached Model Town Club for swimming. During swimming, her gold items worth Rs500,000 were stolen from her bag.
