Shamas Colony Police Station registered the first FIR against workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) taking part in the November 24 protests.

Police arrested 33 PTI workers and later presented them in the court of duty judge Shahzad Khan. The judge sent all arrested PTI workers to jail for 14 days for identification parade. These PTI workers will be now produced in the court on December 7. These PTI workers have been booked under anti-terrorism provisions of the law.

Pakistan's jailed former prime minister Imran Khan had given a call for nationwide protests a few days ago.
