Students hold protest against irregularities in MDCAT exam

Students of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University held a protest demonstration outside the office of vice-chancellor (VC) against irregularities in the MDCAT exams, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.


According to details, these irregularities were detected during entry test for MDCAT held on September 22, 2024.


Students said that despite conclusion of examination process the management of the university still failed to upload questionnaire on the website.


They demanded the management of the university to upload the MDCAT questionnaire on priority basis. They further said that several mistakes were highlighted in the keys of MDCAT examination while most of the questions were out of syllabus.


The students said that these irregularities will put our future on the stake.


MDCAT result announced in Peshawar


Final result of MDCAT examination which was held on September 22, 2024 has been declared in Peshawar.


According to Khyber Medical University (KMU), overall 41,671 students participated in the MDCAT examination.


Around 670 students obtained more than 181 numbers in MDCAT examination, while 38 students successfully secured more than 190 marks.


Notably around 17,000 which mean 41.16 percent of students failed to secured 100 marks, while 16 percent students obtained numbers from 100 to 120 and 15 percent students secured numbers from 101 to 120.


The result of MDCAT examination showed better percentage of successful students as compared with the result of previous year.
