President Zardari meets Maulana Fazl over 'new legislation'

President Asif Ali Zardari along with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has reached the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s house in Islamabad to discuss the political situation of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman along with senior leadership of the party welcomed President Zardari at his residence.
On the occasion, Maulana Fazl also warmly hugged Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi as well.
According to inside information, President Zardari is trying to woo JUI leadership regarding new legislation in the parliament. The government has convened a joint session of the parliament on Monday.
Reportedly, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to deliberate on the ongoing political situation and discuss potential key legislation.
PTI delegation under the leadership of Barrister Gohar also met Muala Fazl and they formed a committee to bring differences besides having a mutual discussion about the proposed new legislation by the government.
