Despite receiving permission from the Lahore High Court, the administration is not allowing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold its scheduled rally in Lahore on August 27, according to PTI Punjab Information Secretary Shaukat Basra.

In response, PTI plans to file a contempt petition against the administration, Basra stated.

The party intends to request the court to permit a rally in Lahore after their planned event in Islamabad on September 8.

Due to the lack of administrative approval, PTI has decided to postpone its August 27 rally in Lahore. Instead, the party will focus its efforts on the upcoming Islamabad rally.

The new date for the Lahore rally will be announced following the Islamabad event, Shaukat Basra confirmed.
