Motorways closed from Multan to M-3 due to fog

To guarantee the safety and secure travel of the public, motorways from Lahore to Multan and M-3 have been closed due to the prevailing foggy conditions on Sunday night.
According to Motorway Police Spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed, the duration of fog during the cold season has increased over national highways.
The spokesperson said road users are advised to prioritize travel during daylight hours for optimal safety, adding that the best travel times during the foggy season are from 10 AM to 6 PM.
He said road users are encouraged to utilize front and rear fog lights during foggy conditions.
The spokesperson advised that the travellers should exercise caution at high speeds and maintain a safe distance from the next vehicle.
For information and assistance, road users can contact the helpline at 130, the spokesperson said.
