Fire again erupts in Khyber, Upper Dir jungles 

Scores of trees and shrubs have been burnt after a fire again erupted in a jungle on Akakhel mountainous range in Bara, district Khyber, while fire also erupted in a jungle in Upper Dir, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The fire in Khyber was fast moving towards nearby localities due to strong winds, endangering human lives.

And to make matters worse, nobody from the district administration or a fire brigade vehicle reached the site till last reports came in. 

In Dir, as soon as the fire started, Civil Defence personnel and residents of the area started dousing the flames on their own. 

However, the cause of the fire was still to be ascertained.
