Another case of departmental infighting has emerged in the federal bureaucracy that resulted in the removal of senior joint secretary petroleum division from his office, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reportedly, Senior Joint Secretary Petroleum Division Sajid Qazi who was working in BPS 21, was removed from his office on Friday following his wrangling with the secretary petroleum division. Mr Qazi was asked to report to the establishment division. 

Sources in the establishment division revealed that two officers who are already involved in squabbling with their senior officers in the petroleum division also want their transfer.

The establishment division has issued a removal order of Mr Qazi. 

Transfers/postings

Several senior officers in federal bureaucracy have either been transferred or posted on Friday.

The Establishment Division has issued a notification in this regard.

Senior Joint Secretary Petroleum Division Sajid Qazi, a grade-21 officer, has been removed from the post and asked to report to the Establishment Division.

Similarly, Director General Foreign Affairs Division Shoaib Sarwar has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary Prime Minister Office (Public) while Saljuk Mustansar Tarar who had been serving as Joint Secretary at the Prime Minister Office has been transferred to Foreign Affairs Division.

Likewise, Akram Khawaja, a grade-20 officer at National School of Public Policy, has been asked to report to the Establishment Division.

Khalid Yameen, a grade-19 officer, has been posted as Director FG Employees Housing Authority on deputation for a period of three years.
