CJP constitutes SC larger bench against Audio Leaks Commission case

Chief Justice of Supreme Court Umar Ata Bandial Thursday constituted a larger bench on the petitions against the Audio Leaks Inquiry Commission.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the larger bench of the supreme court will comprise five judges and Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial will lead it.
The five-member larger bench headed by the Chief Justice will hear the petition against the Audio Leak Commission tomorrow (Friday).
Supreme Court Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan, Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Shahid Waheed are included in the larger bench.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Ahmad Khan,  Supreme Court Bar Association President Abid Shahid Zuberi, Secretary Muqtedir Akhtar Shabbir and the CEO of the Jurist Foundation of Pakistan advocate Riaz Hanif Rahi have filed petitions against the Judicial Commission.

Pertinent to mention here that Supreme Court Justice Qazi Faez Isa is heading the judicial commission constituted to probe into the veracity of alleged audio leaks.
