Govt makes record of speedy release of funds of Rs87b to MNAs

The coalition government has made a record for the speedy release of funds of Rs87 billion for parliamentarians' schemes in just the last four months.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, development funds of Rs87 billion were provided for the schemes of the Members National Assembly (MNAs) from July to October.
The channel report said that almost 100 percent of the development funds allocated for the MNAs are released in the first quarter of the current financial year.
The channel reported that in the continuing fiscal year 2022-23, a total amount of Rs87.58 billion has been allocated for the schemes of the parliamentarians.
