Heavy fire damages Azad Kashmir school

A massive fire broke out in Falcon Public School located in Lamiyan area of Hattian Bala in Azad Kashmir on Monday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The fire engulfed the entire school which was erupted as the classes were about to start. An electric short-circuit was blamed for the blaze.
All the students were evacuated while adjacent buildings were also at risk due to the heavy school fire.
Soon after the incident, Rescue 1122 vehicles reached Lamiyan area and started efforts to bring the fire under-control.
The school building was completely destroyed as a result of the inferno.
Local people also tried on their own to control the fire but their efforts became useless.
Four people were injured while trying to douse the fire. Two of them were identified as Umar Sheikh and Waqas Shabbir Sheikh.
Though the Rescue 1122 team could not reach the site even after the passage of one hour, the injured were shifted to RHC Lamiyan.
