Kandhkot's kidnappers demand ransom on social media, release videos of hostages

A group of kidnappers in the Kandhkot area of Sindh have been using social media to spread videos of their hostages and demand millions of rupees for their release.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the kidnappers have also threatened to kill the hostages if their demands are not met.
The victims include Shahid Shaikh and Nadeem Malik, who were abducted from Ghoshpur three weeks ago, and two truck drivers who were kidnapped from the Indus Highway in the same period.
More than five hostages from the Kashmore district are also still missing.
The police and other forces have failed to recover any of the hostages so far.
The families of the victims have appealed to the authorities for urgent action to rescue their loved ones.
