PMC cancels admissions in 36 medical and dental colleges across Pakistan

Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has cancelled admissions in 36 medical and dental colleges across Pakistan including eight in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on violation of rules and regulations and merit, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per the PMS statement, the commission has cancelled the admissions that were inducted since March 8.

The commission has also warned nine other medical and dental colleges to take various steps and now colleges are directed to take new admissions through new advertisements in five days.

TV channel sources said that rules and regulations were issued for medical and dental colleges in connection with MBBS and BDS admissions and complaints were sent to the Pakistan Medical Commission in this regard.

Now the commission took the final decision in this regard and asked the medical and dental colleges to take new admissions through fresh advertisement within five days.
