PTI leaders have repeated their demand for the release of their party founder Imran Khan and an end to ‘political persecution and election manipulations’.

Addressing the participants of a rally in Islamabad, they said they rejected ‘rigged election and by-election’

PTI chairman Barrister Gohar said they wanted to build a stable and prosperous Pakistan where the rule of law will reign supreme and no one will be compelled to take to the streets for justice.

Gohar said the PTI founder was jailed for becoming the voice for the poor. “Had he (Imran Khan) compromised on principles, he would have been out of jail.

Barrister Gohar came down hard on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for appearing in uniform at the police passing-out parade yesterday.

Labelling her as ‘TikTok Princess’, he asked her to go to Bahawalnagar police station instead of showing up in police uniform. “

Gohar assured PTI workers that Imran Khan will be freed soon.  He said PTI wanted to provide justice to women, adding that PTI was not given reserved seats. Gohar said PTI's case against ECP’s judgment over reserved seats has been deferred for a long time.

Gohar claimed that the PTI founder will be out of jail in May.

This government will go in a few days, Umar Ayub said. He added: “The PTI has rejected the manipulated election. All the losers, including the prime minister, were declared winners.

“We have to change this system. We don't want the law of the jungle. We want the rule of law

All of you came out for PTI founder. The heart of the policemen too beats for Imran Khan.

Meanwhile addressing PTI workers at Qaddafi Chowk in Islamabad, PTI leader Omar Ayub said that PTI workers have broken the barriers of terror and arrests and come out on the street in favour of the PTI founder.

He claimed that the heart of the police officers and officials, performing duties here, also beat the PTI founder.

He said Bushra Bibi was not the weakness of the PTI founder, rather she always supported Imran Khan. He said Bushra Bibi was fit and healthy before she was put in jail but now she has become a heart patient.

He said cases against Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Ch Pervez Elahi were politically motivated and soon they will be released from jail.
