Three more officers of the Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, where former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan is incarcerated, have been changed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The officers are Additional Superintendent Central Jail Aftab Ahmad, Lady Deputy Superintendent Central Jail Samra Jabeen and Deputy Superintendent Adiala Jail Mazhar Iqbal Aslam.

Aftab, who had been assigned the duty to escort Imran to the court and later escort him back, has now been appointed as Security Officer of Punjab Prison Staff Training College, Sahiwal. He has replaced the former deputy superintendent Muhammad Akram.

Similarly, Samra has now been appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Education Regional Office, Bahawalpur.

Likewise, Mazhar, who had been serving as deputy superintendent jail, has now been appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Education Regional Office Dera Ghazi Khan.

Five days ago, the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) took six more employees of the Adiala Jail into custody besides confiscating their cellphones for allegedly aiding Imran; three of whom were women.

The aforementioned employees were a sweeper, two lady wardens and three officials posted on monitoring surveillance cameras in the jail premises.

The female staff allegedly passed on messages from Imran to his wife Bushra Bibi in the prison.

On August 14, the former deputy superintendent of Adiala jail Muhammad Akram had been taken into custody on charges of aiding the incarcerated PTI founder.

Akram was removed from his post on June 20, while Deputy Superintendent Judicial Tahir Siddique Shah replaced him as security supervisor of Imran.

Akram would allegedly convey the former prime minister’s messages outside the prison facility secretly.
