Bibi Pak Daman shrine to be opened for devotees before Dec 31, CM Naqvi told

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday visited the shrine of Bibi Pak Daman in Lahore and had a detailed inspection of the ongoing work on the shrine’s renovation as well as expansion, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The chief minister, on the occasion, was briefed that 97 per cent work on the project was complete and that the shrine would be opened for devotees before December 31, 2023.
He made it clear that there should be no compromise on the quality of the project.
He ordered that the path leading to the shrine should also be broadened so that the people could enter it without any hassle.
The CM also ordered that there should be a separate place in the shrine for lighting candles.
He went round different portions of the shrine, including its roof.
He ordered that special lights should be installed at the central part of the shrine.
Later the chief minister prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country and security of the Palestinian Muslims.
Provincial ministers Mansoor Qadir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Amir Mir, adviser to the CM Wahab Riaz, Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar and others also accompanied CM Naqvi to the shrine.
