ANF captures 1,102kg heroin

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Wednesday claimed to have seized a huge cache of heroin, weighing 1,102 kg during a raid carried out in Dalbandin area in District Chagai.
According to the ANF spokesperson, acting on a tip-off, the ANF Nokundi police station carried out a raid in Gardi Jangle, a deserted area in Dalbandin. The force recovered huge quantity of heroin, weighing 1,102 kg. The contraband was hidden underneath the earth's surface in 37 packets of polythene bags. The officials took the drug into custody and shifted to ANF Nokundi police station.
The spokesperson informed that the heroin had been smuggled from Afghanistan and was dumped for an appropriate opportunity to be trafficked into Europe through Iran.
The officials, requesting not to be named, said that estimated worth of the contraband in the international market would be in billions.
