The inside story of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan's (MQM-P) coordination committee meeting has unvieled that nothing has been finalized between the PML-N and MQM-P on the ministries in the federation.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the negotiation committee of MQM-P informed the members of the coordination committee about the meeting with the top leadership of the PML-N.
The negotiation members told the meeting that they have placed their demands in front of the PML-N and they will not back down from their demands regarding the constitutional amendments.
They said the PML-N top leadership has assured them that they will make contact soon with possitive response.
Anyhow, the sources said the committee members said they want such ministries in the federation to solve the problems of citizens of Sindh, especially Karachi.
On the other hand the MQM-P spokesperson told the media that the coordination committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in which Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori, Senior Deputy Convenor Syed Mustafa Kamal, Dr Farooq Sattar, Deputy Convenor Anees Qaimkhani, Khawaja Izharul Hasan and members of the Coordination Committee participated.
In the meeting, he said the post-election situation and the talks with the PML-N were discussed and the coordination committee gave various suggestions on the current political situation of the federation and the province.
He further stated that the committee was agreed to continue the struggle for the stability of democracy and basic democratic rights in the country.
