Sindh govt to launch Pink People’s Bus Service exclusively for women

The Sindh transport department has decided to launch special Pink People’s Bus Service exclusively for women in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The decision was taken in a meeting held at the residence of Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, presided over due to health reasons.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that after Orange, Red and White now they were going to start Pink bus service for women.
According to the Transport Minister the Pink People’s bus service will start its operation from February 1st.
“The decision had been made after keeping in mind the travel problems of working women”, said the Transport Minister.
He also told the first route of Pink People’s bus service which has been selected was from Model Colony, Shahrah-e-Faisal to Tower.
“The bus service will run after every 20 minutes in morning and evening during office hours and in normal hours it will run after every one hour”, said Sharjeel Inam Memon.
