Pakistan Navy launches Sea Spark 2024 exercise to test combat readiness

The Pakistan Navy kicked off its biennial exercise Sea Spark 2024 in Karachi on Thursday, with the aim of assessing its operational capabilities and combat strategy, reported 24NewsHD Tv channel.
The Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf was the chief guest of the opening ceremony, where he was briefed on the objectives and plan of the exercise.
Sea Spark 2024 is a comprehensive naval exercise that will involve all the combat assets of the Pakistan Navy, including surface, subsurface, air and special forces, as well as the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) and Pakistan Marines. The exercise will also feature joint operations with the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force under Exercise Sea Spark 2024.
The purpose of Sea Spark 2024 is to critically evaluate the Pakistan Navy's operational readiness and warfighting skills in various domains and scenarios. The exercise will also enhance the coordination and interoperability among the three services and other stakeholders.
The exercise will demonstrate the Pakistan Navy's resolve to safeguard the maritime interests of the country and maintain peace and stability in the region.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of the Federal Ministries including Defence, Foreign Affairs, Law and National Security Division as well as a large number of Armed Forces officers.
