FM Bilawal Bhutto felicitates newly appointed Chinese counterpart

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a telephone conversation Tuesday with Wang Yi the newly appointed Foreign Minister of China, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Conveying his felicitations on Foreign Minister Yi’s new appointment, the Foreign Minister noted that Pakistan and China are time-tested friends and All-Weather Partners, with a long history of mutual support and cooperation.

The two Foreign Ministers discussed regional issues of mutual interest. They reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan and China to advance the bilateral All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.

Wang Yi is a seasoned and experienced diplomat, Bilawal said, adding that he is sure that in the presence of Wang Yi, Pakistan-China friendship and partnership will be stronger in all seasons.
