Ghulam Shabbir’s missing case: IHC Justice Saman Imtiaz seeks reply from Secretary Defence

Islamabad High Court Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz issued a written order on Thursday after hearing a case for the early recovery of PTI leader Dr Shehbaz Gill's missing brother Ghulam Shabbir, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the hearing, IG and DIG Operations Islamabad Police submitted their reports in court and claimed that have not detained Ghulam Shabbir. While FIA in its report also refuted that Ghulam Shabbir was in its custody.
According to the petitioner's counsel, the ISI and MI have not submitted their reply. The petitioner's counsel also sought permission to make the defense secretary as a party to the case.
The petitioner's counsel sought the permission that name of the Prime Minister of Pakistan should be deleted from their petition. IHC Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz allowed the removal of the Prime Minister as a party and granted permission to make the Secretary of Defense as a party in the case.
The court directed the petitioner's counsel to amend the petition and file it again till the next hearing. After amending the application, a notice should be issued to the Ministry of Defence.
Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz also directed Additional Attorney General to submit report on behalf of the Secretary Defence on next hearing. Later Justice Taman Rifat Imtiaz deferred the hearing of the case till July 30.
