Two men shot dead in Lahore graveyard

Just days after a powerful bomb blast wreaked havoc in the Johar Town area of Lahore, two men were shot dead in the same area on Saturday due to old enmity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the police, the two men were shot dead in the Samsani graveyard. Both the men, identified as 40-year-old Umar Bhatti and50-year-old Mushtaq, died on the spot.
Police said that they have registered a case and arrested an accused in connection with the double murder. Another accused was on the run, the police added.
The police further said after extracting information from the detained accused, Akhtar, raids were being conducted to arrest the other one named Sanaullah.
The double murder case was registered at Johar Town Police Station on the application of deceased Umar’s cousin, Muhammad Yar Tahir.
The investigators have pointed at the old enmity as the possible motive behind the killings.
Sanaullha, Zakaullah, Saifullah, Ahsanullah, Allah Ditta, Khalid and two unknown persons were mentioned in the FIR.
