'My daughter has done nothing illegal', says Sonakshi's mom

Popular Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha’s mother Shatrughan Sinha has slammed the huge protest targeting her daughter’s ‘interfaith’ marriage with Zaheer Iqbal, a Muslim man, saying vehemently: “My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional, its completely her personal matter.”
In case the readers are not aware, Sonakshi Sinha has been talk of the town for her marriage to long-term beau Zaheer Iqbal: however, most of the people bashed the star’s marriage for religious concerns.
Sona’s mom Shatrughan Sinha has been assumed completely unfazed by the ongoing protests against Sonakshi Sinha's interfaith marriage. However, in an interview with Times Now, Shatrughan mentioned that people will always have something to say about others with adding: "Anand Bakshi Saab has written about such professional protesters Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. To this, I would like to add, Kehna wale agar bekaar bina kaam-kaaj ke hon toh kehn hi kaam ban jata hai. My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional. A marriage is a very personal decision between two people. No one has the right to interfere or comment. To all the protestors I say, 'Go get a life. Do something useful with your life.' Bas, aur kuch nahin kehna."
