The two-day commemoration of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's death anniversary has begun at Baba Guru Nanak's Darbar Kartarpur Gurdwara in Shakargarh.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a group of 435 pilgrims from India arrived via the Wagah Border and travelled by bus to Kartarpur to participate in the events.
The Kartarpur management and district administration warmly welcomed the group leader and the pilgrims upon their arrival.
The ceremonies, which include various religious rituals, will conclude tomorrow, after which the pilgrims will return to India.
