LHC reinstates five health dept employees   

Suspending the notification issued by the secretary health until the next hearing, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has reinstated five employees of the health department who had been suspended, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In this regard, in his written order, which Justice Muzammal Akhtar Shabbir of the LHC issued on the petitions filed by Syed Taseer Abbas and others on Tuesday, the judge said that under clause five of the PEEDA Act, the secretary health did not have the power to suspend any employee.

The court also sought arguments from the lawyers at the next hearing.
