Newborn set on fire, dumped in Karachi

What can be described as one of the most bone-chilling incidents; something rarely heard of, some unidentified persons set a newly-born child on fire and then threw him in Gulshan-e-Hadeed area of Karachi on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

After having been informed, the rescue officials shifted the critically wounded child to the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) where the doctors said that his 30 per cent body had been burnt completely, and that it was difficult to save his life.   

Police, on the other hand, have begun investigation to ascertain as to who had set the child on fire and what was the motive behind this harrowing act?
