Packaged milk prices rise by up to Rs15 per litre

The packaged milk companies have increased the milk prices by Rs5 to Rs15 per litre, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
After the increase, the price of a one-and-a-half-litre milk pack rose by Rs15 to Rs395 while that of a one-litre milk pack by Rs10 to Rs280 per litre.
The price of a quarter-litre milk pack also rose by Rs5 to Rs75.
The new milk prices will be implemented by two companies on October 1 and by one company on October 6.
