FIA arrests 15 Saudi Arabia-bound passengers with incomplete documents

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) personnel at Multan International Airport on Thursday arrested 15 people after offloading them from a plane as part of a crackdown on human smuggling, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


According to the FIA officials, the passengers were going to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.


However, they did not have return tickets, complete documents, Ahram and cash with them, the officials said, and added travel agents namely Raja Sattar Kiani and Raja Iqbal Kiani, who were also in their custody, had collected Rs1.4 million to Rs1.5 million from each of these passengers.  


From Saudi Arabia, these persons had to travel to Spain illegally.
