The students of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) reached Islamabad High Court (IHC) today for a protest against the out-of-syllabus exam, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per details, the students filed a petition that reads, there were more than 20 questions in the paper that were out of the prescribed syllabus and significantly impacted their ability to perform well on the test.

“When the paper arrived we were totally shocked”, said students.

“Our parents went to the university to discuss the matter but unfortunately the Vice-Chancellor (VC) left through the back door”, they added.

Further, they stated that the police surrounded them while they did nothing and the most hurtful thing was that the registrar was laughing.

Protesters called for immediate action from educational authorities to address their grievances and ensure that future examinations adhere strictly to the syllabus.

The students demanded a re-examination of MD CAT.
