Five injured in grenade attack on police van in Quetta

A police officer and four other people were seriously injured after a hand grenade was hurled at a police van, which was on routine patrolling in Nawakali, a suburban area of Quetta, on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to reports, the incident took place near Pashtunistan Chowk.
The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Emergency response teams, along with law enforcement personnel, promptly arrived at the scene to assist, transport the injured to hospital.
Security personnel launched an inquiry into the incident.
